Biography



StarBoy Ayvon is among the most prominent names in Eastern Europe magic art.
He has taken part in some of the most prestigious international magic forums like Masters of Magic, Hans Klok Trophy, Dutch Festival of Magic etc. He won two special awards at the Australian Circus Festival. Up to the present moment, Ayvon is the only Bulgarian artist who has been chosen to represent his country at the spectacular project of Eurovision TV – Magic Circus Show in Geneva, Switzerland. After his successful performance, he was invited to participate in numerous shows and TV programs in France, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands etc. Ayvon is the first Bulgarian illusionist who has been awarded with the memorial cup “Mister Senko” for illusionist of the year. He also made it to the finals of the show Bulgaria’s Got Talent. At the beginning of 2023, Ayvon created the grandest illusion performance in Bulgarian cultural history in cooperation with the National Music Theatre “Stefan Makedonski”.

The early career of Ayvon started when he was barely 8 years old. He saw magic for the first time on a popular TV show and his love for illusion art flamed up instantly and filled his heart for life. After a couple of weeks of him stubbornly fabricating magic tricks from materials at hand, his parents surprised him with his first magic kit for kids and Ayvon started performing in front of his family and friends. With time passing away, his interest towards magic art grew stronger and stronger so at the age of 9 his parents enrolled him in the only circus school in Bulgaria. There he mastered the first steps of illusion art and studied stage presence and dancing for 3 years.


Shortly afterwards, in 2012, Ayvon appeared at his first international magic festival – Golden Cat Magic Convention where he won his first prize – A Young Rising Star. Later in the same year, Ayvon was chosen by the Bulgarian National Television to represent his country at the large-scale international project of Eurovision TV – Magic Circus Show in Geneva, Switzerland. Up to the present moment, this is the only time a Bulgarian artist has participated in the show. After the huge success of his appearance, Ayvon was interviewed by several international media and received suggestions to take part in numerous performances in other European countries like France, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands etc. Soon after that, Ayvon was invited as a special guest in the annual magic show Abrakadabra 4 times in a row. During the same period of time, he gains popularity following his appearance in many Bulgarian TV programs.


In 2014, Ayvon was among the artists of the impressive children circus performance “Magnifiya” which received the most prestigious theatre award in Bulgaria – IKAR. In 2015, he was invited as a guest star in the anniversary performance of the legendary illusionist Astor which was held in Hall 1 of the National palace of Culture. During the same year, Ayvon became the first Bulgarian artist to be awarded with the memorial cup “Mister Senko” for illusionist of the year.


In 2019, Ayvon was invited to take part in the international festival in San Marino where he was noticed by the Italian Federation of Magic Societies. As a result, 2 months later, he appeared at one of the most significant magic festivals in the world, namely Masters of Magic, Italy, where he was invited by the producer of the event himself. Immediately after that, Ayvon was among the 10 illusionists who were chosen from all over the world and approved for participation in the prestigious festivals Hans Klok Trophy and Dutch Festival of Magic – The Netherlands. Within those few months, Ayvon attracted significant attention towards his professional work and received a special invitation from the then president of FISM (International Federation of magic Societies), Mr. Domenico Dante, to participate in the 135th edition of the magic festival Congresso Nazionale Clib Magico Italiano in Abano Terme, Italy. In 2021, Ayvon became the first Bulgarian illusionist to appear at the spectacular Australian Circus Festival where he won two special awards – Most Interesting New Talent and Exceptional Performance Skills.


Later the same year, Ayvon was invited as a special guest performer in the hit title “Operetta Variety Show” from the repertoire of the National Music Theatre “Stefan Makedonski”, Sofia. Following its huge success, Ayvon also joined the cast of the Christmas-New-Year performances of the theatre. At the beginning of 2022, he participated in the popular TV show Bulgaria’s Got Talent and made it to the grand finals in May the same year. In January, 2023, StarBoy Ayvon, in cooperation with the National Music Theatre, presented the magnificent illusion show “Impossible” in front of the Bulgarian audience within 6 premiere performances. This innovative show casts 5 solo singers, an orchestra of 35 musicians and a ballet of 25 dancers and also includes 21 big illusions, futuristic stage design, original costumes and special effects which are entangled with a dramatic plot line. “Impossible” gained unprecedented success as an illusion performance within Bulgarian show business so it has become a regular hit title in the National Music Theatre’s repertoire. The show was acknowledged as the most large-scale illusion performance in Bulgarian cultural history!
